What’s going on in March?

The first signs of spring are starting to appear around us, and with that promise of brighter and warmer things to come; we have a jam-packed March to kick start your import and export learning no matter what stage of your international trade journey you are at.

On 8th March, let us show you the fundamental skills and knowledge you will need to prepare and process the documents required when exporting your goods overseas.

This introduction course will study the principles and current industry practices required, ensuring candidates understand and can process the documents required for international shipments and transportation.

On 14th March, Mike Court will be delivering a webinar on AEO (Authorised Economic Operator) with London Chamber of Commerce.   Increasingly, businesses from outside the UK are refusing to deal with companies that haven’t acquired the AEO standard – if you are interested in learning more about this internationally recognised quality mark.

Meanwhile on 22nd March we are running our popular Methods of Payment course – covering the five main types of payment used in International Trade we will be exploring the documents required, the types and levels of security amongst other things.  As always we will be providing delegates with sources of help and advice to help them moving forward.

On 28th March Frances Fawcett will be delivering a webinar for London Chamber of Commerce on Understanding Incoterms®.  If you see these three letter codes on your imports and exports and wonder what they mean, or perhaps you always use the same ones because that’s they way it’s always been – maybe you would just like a bit of clarity!  Either way this webinar will show you that understanding Incoterms® Rules is fundamental to international trade and can make shipments much easier.
