This course has two aims. Firstly, it will explain customs procedures that could save you money and secondly it will prepare you for a customs audit
There has never been a more important time to ensure that your business has customs related procedures in place to help control risk. Even if you leave it to your forwarding agent you should still check the accuracy of declarations after they have been submitted and obtain copies of entries. By the end of this course, importers and exporters will know how to improve their customs and international trade procedures and the special customs procedures they could be using. Both will improve compliance, could avoid duty reclaims and time consuming appeals, and will improve supply chain performance. All of which reduces operating costs and improves efficiency.
