DESCRIPTION:An introductory course providing candidates with fundamental sk
 ills and knowledge to prepare and process a system of classifying their pa
 rts for both import and export. \nIt is fully supported with user friendly
  and up-to-date notes (including practical experience on classifying produ
 cts using the UK Global Tariff) to ensure the skills learned can be used e
 ffectively back in the workplace. \n\nCandidates will\, after attending t
 his course\, be aware of what commodity codes are and what they are used f
 or. They will have a basic understanding of the process of how to classify
  goods and would have successfully classified a range of goods to gain exp
 erience in using the UK Global Tariff and where to go for further advice.
  \n\nWho should attend?\n\nInternational trade and finance administrators
  and managers\, those from procurement and technical experts who are respo
 nsible for identifying commodity codes. \n\nThis leads to an understanding
  of the duties\, taxes\, and controls required for import and export. Mist
 akes in this area can be costly and serious so companies must ensure they 
 have the knowledge to manage this properly in their organisations. \n\nThe
  course is valuable for both newcomers wanting an introduction and overvie
 w\, and experienced staff needing a refresher on current requirements. \n
 \nEach course can also count as a credit towards the British Chamber of Co
