There has never been a more important time to ensure that your business has customs related procedures in place to help control risk.

Even if you leave it to your forwarding agent you should still check the accuracy of declarations after they have been submitted and obtain copies of entries.
This ½ day course is designed to help those importers and exporters that are keen to improve their customs and international trade procedures but are not sure where to begin.

By following a few simple rules you could improve your compliance, avoid duty reclaims and time consuming appeals, improve supply chain performance and reduce costs.

Workshop contents:

  • inward processing
  • outward processing
  • temporary admission
  • authorised use (also known as end use)
  • customs warehousing

Who Should Attend

Anyone directly involved in the administration of international trade and use of special customs procedures and would be involved in an HMRC audit.  This may also be relevant to finance managers looking to save costs on import and export activities.

Accredited Training

Our 2020 courses are accredited by British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) and together form a curriculum that provides invaluable basic skills for small and large companies alike. Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of the subject and their performance will be marked by external examiners on the completion of each module. Candidates will receive a certificate for each module successfully completed, and achievement of six credits will result in the candidate obtaining a nationally recognised Foundation Award in Exporting.

That’s why we offer high quality training courses for first time and existing exporters that cover the critical steps for any new export drive.

A Foundation Award in International Trade is awarded on the completion of six modules.
